The Central Area Maintenance Organization (CAMO) is a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization and proud TASBO Affiliate serving the Greater Austin, Texas area. Our mission is to provide education and networking opportunities for maintenance professionals and staff from local school districts.
We host monthly educational luncheon meetings beginning at 11:00 AM. Each session features a presentation from a vendor member, covering a wide range of topics relevant to school facility operations. Topics include HVAC, custodial services, maintenance best practices, major construction, safety and security, design guidelines, and more.
CAMO’s signature event is our annual Vendor Fair and Trade Show, held every April. This event provides valuable networking and learning opportunities, while also supporting a greater cause. Each year, CAMO proudly donates $10,000 to the TASBO Scholarship Fund—in 2024, 2025 and in 2026 to the TASBO Emerging Leaders Program.
